Two separate product roles in an FRP surface system

GP Gelcoat Resin is published as a mould-side polyester surface-coating product. MEKP Hardener is the separate catalyst / initiator component named in the current compatible-system context. They should not be compared as substitute products.

Begin with the required component and visible surface role, then review the specific gelcoat product data before including MEKP in a system enquiry.

Use application pages as component context

The existing site application guides cover FRP mould finishing, water-tank exteriors, boat and marine hull finishing, and bathware or sanitaryware. They provide component context but do not replace review of the current gelcoat and MEKP documentation.

A focused gelcoat-system enquiry

Share the moulded component, surface-finish requirement, relevant gelcoat product, expected quantity, application context if known and delivery location. This helps distinguish a gelcoat requirement from the separate structural resin, reinforcement and catalyst requirements.

Frequently asked questions

Is MEKP Hardener the gelcoat itself?

Does this guide provide gelcoat application instructions?

No. It provides product-role and procurement guidance only. Review the current product data and discuss the actual system where needed.
