Start with the product designation

ISO Fire Retardant Resin is the separately published isophthalic-based fire-retardant polyester grade from Samrat FRP Traders. Its current TDS describes a halogen-free, ATH-filled liquid resin and identifies the product within the unsaturated polyester resin family.

The word ISO is a chemistry descriptor here. It should not be read as an ISO certification, ISO approval or a claim that a finished FRP component meets a particular standard.

Use the published grade data, not a generic label

The current ISO Fire Retardant Resin TDS publishes supply information including white appearance, 400 cPs viscosity, 5.5-minute gel time, three-month shelf life and 30-35 degrees C storage. Review the current document for the exact grade and project requirement.

A product description does not by itself establish the fire classification, service suitability or approval of a finished FRP component. Buyers should keep those separate questions in the enquiry.

Choose the next question

Compare ISO FR with the separately listed standard Fire Retardant Resin when the product route is unclear. Use the UPR guide to understand the family relationship, and use the fire-requirements guide when a project names a standard, classification or tested system.

For an RFQ, provide the finished component, required documentation, any original project wording, quantity and delivery location. This supports a product discussion without turning a resin name into an unverified system claim.
