Define the finished-sheet requirement

State whether the product is a roof-light or skylight sheet, a coloured sheet/panel, or a broad general roofing component. Also record the required supplied appearance, any specified reinforcement and whether a separate visible surface layer is needed.

This avoids treating 'FRP roofing resin' as one interchangeable product category. The roof-light, pre-pigmented sheet, general-purpose resin, reinforcement and gelcoat roles are published separately on this site.

Match the requirement to the published route

For the published water-white roof-light and skylight role, review Roof Light Sheet Grade Resin. For a pre-pigmented yellow sheet/panel requirement, review Sheet Grade Yellow Resin. For a broad general-purpose clear FRP role, review GP Clear Resin and its product-specific data.

Where a stated chemical or corrosion requirement is central, review the separate Vinyl Ester Resin documentation instead of assuming a general orthophthalic sheet grade applies. Where a mould-facing finish is specified, review Gelcoat as a separate role.

Use documents and a focused RFQ

Glass Fiber is a separate reinforcement component. Confirm its specified form and weight independently where a component document provides them; a resin product name does not establish the reinforcement design.

For a quote, provide the finished roof or roof-light sheet, required supplied appearance, reinforcement context if known, expected quantity, delivery location and available drawing or buyer specification. Use the current TDS for the exact resin under consideration.

Frequently asked questions

Should a roof-sheet buyer select resin by colour alone?

No. Supplied appearance is one input. The finished sheet, published product role, reinforcement context, surface-finish requirement and current product-specific TDS also need review.

Does this guide provide a roofing-sheet production method?

No. It is a material-selection guide. It does not provide catalyst ratios, laminate design, production instructions or finished-sheet performance claims.
