A documented roof-light sheet route
Roof Light Sheet Grade Resin is Samrat FRP Traders' published water-white orthophthalic unsaturated polyester resin for translucent roof-light panels and skylight sheets. The product designation identifies a specific roofing-sheet buyer requirement, not a general search for any clear resin.
The current Technical Data Sheet describes high optical clarity for light penetration and lists skylights, roof-light panels, greenhouses, industrial and commercial roofing, and roofing-sheet production. Review the exact component and current TDS before treating the product as suitable for a requirement.
Keep the product roles separate
A water-white roof-light route differs from the separately published pre-pigmented yellow Sheet Grade Yellow Resin route for sheet and panel applications. The first decision is the finished-sheet role and supplied appearance, not a broad comparison of resin family names.
GP Clear Resin is the site's general-purpose clear resin route. Roof Light Sheet Grade Resin is the product to review where the documented roof-light, skylight and translucent-sheet intent is central.
The FRP material-system discussion
The resin is one material role. Glass Fiber is the separate reinforcement role where specified, while Gelcoat is a separate mould-facing surface-finish decision. A product name alone does not describe the complete FRP sheet system.
For a quotation, record the finished roof-light or roofing sheet, required supplied appearance, reinforcement context if known, expected quantity and delivery location. This keeps the discussion factual without prescribing a laminate design or production method.
Frequently asked questions
Is Roof Light Sheet Grade Resin an unsaturated polyester resin?
Yes. The current product information identifies it as an orthophthalic unsaturated polyester resin supplied water white for the published roof-light and skylight sheet role.
Does water white state a light-transmission percentage?
No. The current TDS publishes water-white appearance and high optical clarity for light penetration, but it does not publish a transmission percentage, haze value or optical rating.
